The Tag Team Tournament to crown the first ever MKE Wrestling Tag Team Champions begins this Friday, August 24th at Heroes Never Die!
Already announced is The Foleys Vs. The Bomb Shelter, but also taking place is the team of Eddie Machete and Rico De La Vega taking on Jason Dukes and his as of yet unknown partner.
Eddie Machete has been a staple at MKE Wrestling over the last few months and has been very impressive. He is a student of the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy run by WWE Superstar Seth Rollins. His partner Rico De La Vega has been making quite a stir in Milwaukee, showing up at ICW’s Insane 8 last Sunday and taking out people left and right.
When MKE Wrestling announced this tournament, long time Milwaukee wrestler Jason Dukes made clear he was going to enter. We are now 3 days away and are still waiting to hear who his partner will be. Will we find out before Friday, or will Jason Dukes wait until showtime to announce his partner? Stay tuned!
MKE Wrestling Presents: Heroes Never Die! Live Friday, August 24th from the Knights of Columbus
The Tag Team Championship Tournament bracket has been released! The winner of this tournament will become the first ever MKE Wrestling Tag Team Champions.
“The Marman” Mario Crivello and GQ earned a first round bye with their victory over The Players Club at Rules Are Meant To Be Broken last month. They have the easiest path to the championship only needing two more wins to capture the titles.
Starting August 24th at Heroes Never Die, Eddie Machete will be teaming up with Rico De La Vega to take on Jason Dukes, who made it clear to MKE Wrestling management he wants to be in this tournament. We are expecting an announcement soon on who his partner will be.
Also on August 24th, as previously announced, The Foley’s, fresh off their win last month against Dysfunction & Blazin’ Ben will be taking on The Bomb Shelter.
Rounding out the bracket is The Players Club taking on a mystery team. J-Cash and TW3 lost their opportunity at a first round bye last month, but they will have another shot to advance. Who will step up and take on The Players Club? If The Players Club want another shot at Mario & GQ, both teams are going to have to make it to the finals to make it happen.

Air Wolf has recently appeared in Chikara’s Young Lion’s Cup and is really making a name for himself in the professional wrestling industry.
BIO: Air Wolf is a young up and coming wrestler based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Inspired by the art of Lucha Libre, he exhibits a sense of high flying in addition to both technicality and precise striking. The first graduate of The Academy: School of Professional Wrestling, Air Wolf is a student of the game, always craving to learn more.

The Foley’s have been on a tear throughout Wisconsin and surely have made their impact in MKE Wrestling over the past few months. Their first round opponents are making their MKE Wrestling debut: The Bomb Shelter. The Time Traveling trio of Joseph Schwartz, Zodiak, and Randi West. They are here to restore the balance, protect events, restore timelines, and entertain the fans with the most charismatic performance in professional wrestling.
